Well I’m finally in the works of finishing school! I’m a major slacker I know! I’ve been in and out of college for the last decade and I still don’t have a degree. Between work, medical issues and being young and dumb I’ve never gotten around to finishing. But that’s all changing. As of yesterday I have officially registered for my last 2 semesters at SLCC yahoo! However that’s not even where it’s going to end… I haven’t had a real live math class since I was in 8th grade!!! I mean I took math all through high school, but I had those teachers who didn’t really care, or I should say they liked me so I was able to do whatever the hell I wanted and still get a good grade. That said in order to get my degree I need math, but I would have to start in the lowest possible math class (almost), which would mean 4 semesters of math… SUCKY! However I found a solution. Once I finish these last two semesters I will then be transferring to UVU where they offer a super intense math class that will get all of the college math credits in one semester! Once I finish that class I will technically have my associates but I won’t have enough credits through UVU to graduate…. SO I will just start taking classes working towards my BA until I can officially apply for my AS. Once that is done I might finish my BA from UVU or I possibly transfer to the U… I know that’s a lot of jumping around but it will work and let’s be honest I’m a huge fan of the University of Utah so of course I want a degree from them! I’m super excited about it, even though I’m working for the company I want to retire from I just really want those degrees plus they will only help me to promote within FedEx.
Even though I’m going to be crazy busy this summer I still need a Summer-O-Fun bucket list so here are some of the things I hope to enjoy:
Goblin Valley
The Uintas
Go to the Zoo
Fly a kite
Drink lots of bloodymary’s
Bee’s games
Drive in movie
Learn to golf (this should be easy considering one of my classes is a golf class)
Play Frisbee golf
Hike Stewart Falls
Arts Festival
Pride weekend
Gallery Stroll
Twilight concerts
Float down a river
Fishing
Boating
It’s definitely not as long as my typical list but I have class 4 nights a week and Saturday’s so it might be hard to complete this.
